DESCRIPTION: This all-encompassing class covers basic to advanced locking issues. The training should assist Programmers and DBAs in solving locking problems as well as in designing applications for concurrency. Some of the topics include: the impact of Bind parameters on locking and program logic, identifying and handling program data integrity exposures, and latches, claims, and drains as well as locks, including intent locks and SIX locks.
